High-Quality Construction

Built from UV-resistant, high-quality injection-molded polymers and anodized aluminum tubing, the Bunkster is assembled with stainless steel hardware for superior durability. This robust construction ensures long-lasting performance, even in challenging environments.

Versatile and Adjustable Design

The Bunkster features two fixed uprights in a “bunk-style” configuration, with bars parallel to the hull of your vessel. This design fits many modern kayak hull shapes. The uprights can be easily repositioned along the axle, with six bunk positions ranging from 6.25” to 16” wide, maximizing compatibility with different kayak widths and hull shapes.

Tie-Downs and Bunk Pads

Securing a kayak to the Bunkster is straightforward with the integrated tie-down point located at the center of the axle, designed for 1” flat webbing cam straps (not included) or rope with less than 5/16” diameter. The Bunkster includes four super “grippy” rubber bumpers for added grip and long-term durability, featuring snap-on rubber bumpers instead of common foam.

Wheels

The cart comes with two air-filled balloon tires mounted on injection-molded two-piece wheels, optimized for soft surfaces like sand and mud. The wheels feature sealed hubs to keep out sand and grit, and they easily snap in place or remove with a push of a button, ensuring effortless assembly and disassembly.

Storage and Components

Designed for convenience, the Bunkster disassembles completely without the need for tools. The wheels and fixed uprights remove easily, leaving five parts that can be stored in most kayak hatches. This design allows you to keep your cart with you, preventing theft and providing easy transport and storage.

The Bunkster comes with two kickstands, configured with one on each side to optimize and support the loading angle for both sides of the cart. When not in use, the beefy kickstands snap in place, locked out of the way.
