Enhanced Features for 2020
For 2020, we made several updates to enhance durability, corrosion resistance in saltwater applications, and ease of use:
- Corrosion-Resistant Connectors: We added a gold-plated coating to all connector pins to reduce corrosion build-up in saltwater environments.
- Optimized Cable Length: The DC cable length was shortened from 22″ to 12″ for increased convenience and reduced unnecessary bulk.
- New Charger Design: The Nocqua team developed a completely new charger, offering improved functionality and protection.
Advanced Charger Capabilities
The new charger includes several advanced features to ensure optimal performance and safety:
- Reverse Polarity Protection: This feature, combined with alignment arrows, indicates improper connection issues and protects the charger from potential damage.
- Dual Circuit Board Protection: The circuit board safeguards against overcharging and monitors energy transfer to each cell, alerting you to any issues.
- Battery Charge Indicator: The indicator displays the charging status at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. Additionally, the charger can test the battery level before use, allowing you to always know your battery’s charge level prior to your adventure.
