Tempe Town Lake 4th of July Fireworks Paddle – Canceled

The 5th Annual 4th of July meetup and Fireworks show paddle boarding and kayaking on the water a Tempe Town Lake.

Be sure to join us on the water this year! Bring your own board or feel free to rent one from us! Rental information can be found at the bottom or call the shop.

We plan to arrive at Tempe Town Lake Marina Parking lot around 4:30PM with picnic goodies and some temporary shade to keep us from frying. We suggest you arrive early too to get a good place to park. Last year people were parking back to Currie. Bring your own food/snacks and your longboards for some cruising too! We launch at (or just after) sunset at the marina to paddle west toward the Mill Street bridge. The lake will be closed on the west end with buoys about 300 yards east of the bridge. So the only place you can launch is at the marina.

Paddle Board and Kayak Rental information. The shop is running a rental special for $35/board and $40/single-/kayak and $55/double-kayak while supplies last. You must pick up at the shop! We cannot deliver to the lake. Permits are included in the rental, but lights are not. We happen to sell them in the shop, so please secure them now because we sell out every year!
