Its steering cables are crafted from Dyneema, an ultra-strong, low-weight composite that’s twice as strong as stainless steel and only a fifth of the weight. A covered, self-centering rudder mechanism keeps the canoe tracking straight whenever you release the pedals—a crucial feature if a cable ever breaks mid-paddle. For versatile performance, choose from five prepreg carbon-titanium rudders, ranging from a 4″ rudder for minimal drag in flat water to an 11″ rudder for maximum grip in challenging conditions, with swept-back designs to prevent weed buildup.

Each Standard Volare canoe also comes with fitted dust covers for the hull, ama, and iakos, ensuring your canoe stays protected when not in use.

Volare Pro models are crafted to be lighter than the Standard version by an average of 0.9lbs|0.4kg, thanks to a unique weight-saving process. While the structural layups remain the same, weight reduction is achieved by minimizing paint and sanding it down to a thin, sleek layer, giving the Pro models a distinctive sanded-through look. For this reason, Pro hulls are available in five exclusive colors—Pro Grey, Pro White, Pro Blue, Pro Green, and Pro Yellow—with customization limited to cockpit and logo colors. The ama and iakos, however, can be fully customized in any color of your choice.

Additionally, Volare Pros come equipped with a secondary rudder and a set of UV-resistant fitted marine canvas covers, offering optimal protection for long-term outdoor exposure.

Each additional catalog graphic or split incurs a $100 surcharge (except brand graphics).
Each custom graphic (i.e. not in the catalog) incurs a $200 surcharge (but can be mirrored for free).
