The Kialoa PAEA Outrigger Paddle is made with a double bend shaft, which allows for a more comfortable grip and reduces stress on the hands, wrists, and forearms. The shaft is hand shaped slim sweeping double bend shaft with oval tapered wood and triple laminated for strength and durability. The blade is made of a carbon/epoxy with wood/foam core with internal carbon reinforced edge banding for durability. Featuring a tapered PVC foam core carbon fiber epoxy blade, the Paea has virtually zero flex for a quick catch and efficient energy transfer.
