Born out of our desire for a beautifully crafted, old-school Malibu style Log, you’ll notice that with the Logger longboard provides a cleaner, more glide-oriented turn than with a typical longboards. The user-friendly Revenge trucks convey a smoother, less aggressive feel. In surf terminology think of an old school single fin set up vs. a more pump oriented Thruster. This compels you to ride the Logger with a sweeping grace and style rather than a herky jerky feel. The crux of the Logger is that while having its own unique feel, it captures the essential ‘surf’ elements you find in the longer boards in the Hamboards line up, but in a smaller package.

Hamboards Sustainability

Hamboards uses what the wood industry calls ‘shorts’ – which are cuts of wood that are less than 7′ long. This enables us to provide you with a super high quality board with very minimal wood waste.

To bring out the rich walnut colors – we use shellac, an all natural pre-finish – which has been used for thousands of years. So, rest assured – we gave your Logger a “Good Shellacking”.

And keeping with our “Good for the Earth” flow we use water based adhesives and glues – plus the deck traction consists of recycled silica.
