The Backwoods Purist 65 is one of the new ultralight series inflatable kayaks. Designed to go just about anywhere. Perfect for hiking to your favorite paddle spot, fishing, rivers or just exploring. The 6.7″ in length teardrop shape helps with tracking and the front V shape allows for easy forward motion and a straight glide. 20″ fish ruler printed on the side of the cockpit for easy access. The inflatable seat and backrest keeps you off the floor to help keep you dry and comfortable. The entire kayak packs down to the volume of an ultralight sleeping bag and can easily be carried in a backpack.

Constructed of Heavy-duty TPU nylon and welded seams for durability, stiffness and abrasion resistant. Bungee systems at both the front and rear of the kayak to carry gear and velcro paddle holders on the side of the kayak. Comes with an ultralight foot bump to quickly inflate the single Boston Valve. The included carry bag can also double as a dry bag while on the water or be used to inflate the kayak with no additional pumps needed.

Product warranty covers all critical manufacturing defects including general workmanship, seam failures, and material failure due to manufacturing defects.

Warranty Terms

The warranty term for paddlesports products is determined by product materials and construction:

Duratex kayaks including Deschutes, McKenzie, Chelan and Blackfoot Series Kayaks are covered for (2) two years from date of purchase.

Dropstitch SUP’s including 2021 and newer Cascade, Kush, Roam and Blackfoot iSUPs are covered for (2) two years from date of purchase.

HexShell fabric covered kayaks such as Noyo, Chinook, Navarro, and Ultralight TPU products like Backwoods Series are covered for recreational consumer use for (1) one year from date of purchase. These products are not intended for commercial applications such as camp, fleet, or rental use and not covered under warranty for commercial purposes.

Paddlesports products under an approved warranty claim may be repaired or replaced, in part or entirely, at the sole discretion of Aquaglide.

For consumers covered by specific protection laws and/ or regulations in country of purchase or residence, the benefits conferred by this Aquaglide Warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies conveyed by such laws and regulations including, but not limited to, these additional rights.

Accessories/ Pumps

AG accessories and pumps are each optimized for an intended purpose. Any accessory/ pump not able to fulfill its intended purpose due to a manufacturing defect will be considered under this warranty policy.

Product warranty covers all critical manufacturing defects including general workmanship, seam failures, and material failure due to manufacturing defects.

Warranty Terms

All paddles including Orion, Crux, and Aries Series paddles are covered for (1) one year from date of purchase.

All other accessories and pumps including Bags, Fins, Seats, Coolers, Hand and Electrical Pumps, PFD’s and any other included or aftermarket accessories manufactured by Aquaglide are covered for (90) ninety days from date of purchase.

Accessories/ Pumps under an approved warranty claim may be repaired or replaced, in part or entirely, at the sole discretion of Aquaglide.

What is NOT Covered Under Warranty?

Normal wear and tear
Freight damage (freight claim must be filed to cover shipping damage)
Damage while in storage (freeze or other damage)
Repairable cuts, punctures, or tears due to external forces
Damage caused by sharp object when opening boxed product
Damage caused by dragging product
Damage caused by exceeding the maximum weight and/ or user capacity
UV Damage without proper treatment (material breakdown, fading)
Damage, or failure due to over-inflation including thermal over-inflation from sun exposure
Vandalism or intended damage
Product failure due to force majeure, acts of God, or inclement weather
Improper maintenance and/or cleaning
Damage caused by animals or plants including marine growth
Damage caused by chemicals or poor water quality

Dated proof of purchase or original invoice, for original owner.
High resolution photo or video showing serial number (where relevant).
High resolution photo or video showing entire product.
High resolution photos or video of defective portion of product. If leaking, show leak with and without soapy water.
