The Aqua-Bound Sting Ray kayak paddle is a popular and well-regarded paddle known for its performance and durability. The Sting Ray features a fiberglass-reinforced abX resin blade.

This material provides a good balance between strength and weight, making it suitable for both casual paddlers and more serious enthusiasts. The blade typically has a slightly asymmetrical shape, which is designed to minimize flutter and enhance efficiency during strokes. It might also have a dihedral shape, which means it has a ridge running down the center that helps with smooth and stable paddling.

The shaft is constructed from fiberglass. This material offers a good compromise between weight, stiffness, and durability. It’s comfortable to grip and provides a responsive feel during paddling.

Redesigned, stronger blade. The new blade shape provides a smoother forward stroke with less chances for flutter, stiffer feel, and quieter entry and exit. The upgraded fiberglass + nylon blade material is stronger (meaning less flex) and thicker, making it more durable and robust long-term.
Fiberglass-reinforced nylon blades are designed for forgiveness and just the right amount of flex, keeping the kayak moving efficiently even with extra gear slowing you down.

Snap-button ferrule is fixed length plus tight fitting, secure, and long-lasting. No wobbling or inefficiencies like commodity systems. It’s not as technical as some modern ferrule systems, but one of the more robust options. Comes with 3-hole for adjustable feather angles of 0° or 60°, left or right hand control.
