NRS Waist Zephyr PFD
The Zephyr inflation pack is housed in a compact adjustable ripstop nylon waist pouch. Lightweight and out of the way, this is a great alternative to traditional life jackets for flatwater or near-shore stand-up paddling. This self-inflating Type V PFD that provides 15.5 lbs. of flotation meets U.S. Coast Guard requirements as a Type III lifejacket when worn. The Zephyr features a zippered stretch pocket with internal tether for keys or a whistle and D-ring attachment points
Note: This correct way to wear the NRS Zephyr and other waist PFD’s is in the front wear it is easy to inflate and secure the strap for your safety.
This is a great choice PFD for use in calm, warm waters near shore.
CO2 cartridges are one-time-use only. It’s good practice to keep an extra CO2 cartridge on hand to re-arm the PFD after each inflation.
